{"id":580,"date":"2026-05-20T21:11:52","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T00:11:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fenologiar.unp.edu.ar\/?page_id=580"},"modified":"2026-05-20T22:30:58","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T01:30:58","slug":"el-ritmo-de-la-estepa-patagonica-experimento-de-manipulacion-de-recursos-a-largo-plazo","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fenologiar.unp.edu.ar\/?page_id=580","title":{"rendered":"EL RITMO DE LA ESTEPA PATAGONICA: EXPERIMENTO DE MANIPULACI\u00d3N DE RECURSOS A LARGO PLAZO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El OBJETIVO principal del proyecto <strong>EstEEPa<\/strong> llevado a cabo en el Campo Experimental R\u00edo Mayo del INTA en Chubut es comprender c\u00f3mo la disponibilidad de agua y nutrientes y el aumento experimental de la temperatura, regulan el funcionamiento de la estepa patag\u00f3nica en un contexto de cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Utilizamos c\u00e1maras de monitoreo continuo (time-lapse) desde 2019 para registrar la actividad biol\u00f3gica de arbustos y gram\u00edneas. Estas im\u00e1genes nos permiten cuantificar con alta resoluci\u00f3n temporal el \u201cverdor\u201d de la vegetaci\u00f3n (\u00edndices como el GCC), determinando con precisi\u00f3n el inicio, finalizaci\u00f3n y duraci\u00f3n de la estaci\u00f3n de crecimiento. Asimismo, evaluamos c\u00f3mo estos par\u00e1metros responden a los distintos tratamientos y a la variabilidad interanual de las condiciones ambientales. En simult\u00e1neo monitoreamos la humedad del suelo hasta 2 m de profundidad y otras variables ambientales, y evaluamos la din\u00e1mica del intercambio de carbono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/fenologiar.unp.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/6D51E256-8EF2-4A5D-BA9D-AC83FC70F6FE_1_105_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-581\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fenologiar.unp.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/6D51E256-8EF2-4A5D-BA9D-AC83FC70F6FE_1_105_c.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/fenologiar.unp.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/6D51E256-8EF2-4A5D-BA9D-AC83FC70F6FE_1_105_c-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/fenologiar.unp.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/6D51E256-8EF2-4A5D-BA9D-AC83FC70F6FE_1_105_c-768x576.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<p>El uso de estas c\u00e1maras ha sido fundamental para vincular los cambios en la estructura de la vegetaci\u00f3n con la captura de carbono y la p\u00e9rdida de agua por transpiraci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como determinar los factores ambientales que regulan la actividad biol\u00f3gica a lo largo del desarrollo fenol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para asegurar la robustez de nuestras observaciones, correlacionamos los \u00edndices de verdor derivados de las c\u00e1maras (GCC) con el \u00edndice de vegetaci\u00f3n satelital (NDVI, SAVI). La alta concordancia entre ambas m\u00e9tricas confirma que las c\u00e1maras time-lapse son herramientas precisas para monitorear la din\u00e1mica de la vegetaci\u00f3n a escala de parche, permitiendo el escalamiento hacia modelos de mayor resoluci\u00f3n espacial de productividad primaria y flujos de carbono en la estepa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Integrantes del Grupo de Estudios Biof\u00edsicos y Ecofisiol\u00f3gicos (GEBEF) perteneciente al INBIOP (CONICET-UNPSJB) en Comodoro Rivadavia, llevan adelante desde el a\u00f1o 2013 los experimentos a largo plazo en donde se ensayan cambios en la precipitaci\u00f3n, los nutrientes y la temperatura en la estepa.
